Portuguese Film Breakfast

Portuguese breakfast is a daily ritual that combines simplicity, local ingredients, and the fast pace of modern life. ŻUBROFFKA, in collaboration with the Beast International Film Festival from Porto, encourages you not only to enjoy delicious treats but also to watch Portuguese short films!

On the culinary menu, you’ll find sun-filled pastries – the exquisite pastéis de nata – accompanied by aromatic coffee. Keeping in mind that the Portuguese are great travellers and explorers, the film programme features intriguing animations created through co-productions between Portugal and Eastern European countries.
To make you feel like you’re on a real Portuguese esplanade, we will also serve torradas – toasted sandwiches with butter, fig or orange jam, and fresh cheese. The experience will be complemented by conversations and a selection of excellent Portuguese cheeses and cured meats.

Remember: knowing Portuguese morning customs and cinema will help you better understand their culture and plan your stay in this beautiful country. Bom apetite!
